about owner brea coquyt

I’m Brea, Tampa native and owner of Strong at Last. Between walking and running with my dogs, riding my electric unicycle, and working out at the Slab, I often feel like I am outside more often than in!

I played sports throughout my childhood and ran half marathons in college, and then I discovered CrossFit. This opened up a whole new world of fitness. Being a female who was physically strong became the “cool thing” for the first time in my life, and I met a lot of people who were just as into exercising as I was. My life was changing!

Once I started coaching CrossFit classes and taking on personal training clients of my own, I fell in love with helping people see that the barrier of entry is never too high. Everyone deserves to live happier and healthier lives and fitness is a great first step to getting there.

about strong at last

My mission is simple: to make exercise approachable to every fitness level.  Some of my clients have not touched a barbell until their 30s, 40s, 50s, and even 60s. Some clients work with no equipment or minimal equipment, while others have their own garage gym. Some clients are recovering from injuries or chronic pain. No matter where you are starting or what your personal challenges are, strength and health is accessible to you and Strong at Last will show you how!

Every fitness plan I offer starts with a consultation in which we talk about your goals, struggles, and current fitness level. Next we do an assessment in which I see how you move and what you are capable of doing right now. Then, I design a plan for YOU. How many days you work out, what equipment you have, and whether or not we meet in person is all built around your needs.

I have spent a decade experiencing fitness from all sides: reading articles, taking courses, watching videos, waking up before the sun to work out, and being the last person to leave the gym at night. Now I’m ready to help you become proud of your body and what it can accomplish!
